She had everything she needed, wore a mask--yay!--and even explained to me how I could caulk my shower myself if I wanted to in future. I highly recommend this business and Lisa. I can't say enough good things about Mrs. Fix-It Handyman Services. Lisa is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and professional. She replaced my sump pump, installed an alarm and installed my ring doorbell all in the span of a few short hours. My experience with her service was so good, I had her come back to do some other household repairs a few days later and once again, was absolutely thrilled with her services and kindness.

We recently experienced a bathroom toilet malfunction that we could not repair ourselves. Since my husband is disabled from a stroke, this bathroom is the only one he can use. When we contacted Lisa Ivey (Mrs. Fixit Handyman Services), she said one of her family members was also a stroke victim and understood that we needed immediate assistance. She fit us into her already full schedule and was at our home within 15 minutes.
The toilet's location is a bit awkward and made access to the water reservoir difficult. But she was able to replace the defective parts within a matter of minutes and return the toilet to normal function. In addition, she spent time with us explaining how to detect any future problem before it occurs and she provided us with suggestions on replacement items we should keep on hand.
Lisa was great! Her range of experience in addressing virtually all household problems make her a valuable asset to rely on when needed. By the way, while she cannot guarantee parts that are used, she does guarantee her personal work. That's reassuring.

Lisa has all the qualifications of a great handyman plus so much more. I called her when I had collected about half a dozen little projects that had been nagging me for sometime. She told me what she could do & what she couldn't. She gave me referrals with contact numbers to others who could fix the problems she couldn't. She fixed those problems that matched her skills--which were most of my concerns. One of my concerns involved adding an attachment to my roof. Lisa told me she was concerned that this would possibly invalidate the warrantee on my roof. Before she would proceed she wanted to check before she did the job. She checked, & adjusted the job accordingly. I have never had a handy man be so responsible for his/ her work before. On a subsequent visit Lisa checked to be sure that all of the repairs were still in place. Her prices are very reasonable, & she is trustworthy.

We needed to replace a bathroom sink faucet in a condo that we were preparing for sale. Lisa was extremely responsive and communicative, which was essential as the condo was vacant. We were also looking for a quick-turnaround, and Lisa fit us in within a day. We trusted her with the code for the lockbox and she got the work done in a very efficient manner.
